Way back in 1978 Asian Reprographics was originated as an Engineering Equipment Manufacturing Co., This was the beginning of asian as a manufacturing sector in the field of Ammonia and distributor in tracing & Copier papers. With the explosion of business between 1985 to 1999 the organisation to grew in size and now employs 100 full time personnel with infrastructure to handle sales and support. The end customer base had grown from almost Nil to over 500 in the current year while reseller customers had grown from 25 to a strong 1500 resellers. asian reprographics business was characterized by rapid growth in both sales and contribution asian reprographics went in for expansion and took the dealership of CANSON. However the fundamentals of the business were still dealers network, backed by good pricing & promotional schemes. Infact asian was still vehement on personally conductin g training programs for dealers, sales negotiations with his cutomers, organizing finance, ensuring collections and predicting market growth.

Business strategy

Asian strategy was identical to what it was in the initial period - Handling a set of Dealers network directly through the single handed initiatives of Goutam D Jain. Resource deployment in vital business processes like planning, business development, sourcing of finance, personnel training and development, information systems, warehousing and infrastructure was a major constraint. Gautam D Jain did not release that planning process is the key to success of any business.

Asian Reprographics was established in 1978 with little more than purpose, determination, and a handful of dedicated professionals. Today, Asian 10,000 sq. ft., Ambattur, Chennai, facility houses engineering and manufacturing technicians striving to meet industry challenges. Many years of technical experience work hand-in-hand to produce state-of-the-art Reprographic Media, Everyday Media, Adheisve Backed Label Media, Lamination Media, Cad Papers and Films, Textured Papers, Polymaster Equipments and a vast variety of companion products supplying the world over.
